A Backpacks Journey

UK charity Mary’s Meals receives over 100,000 donated backpacks filled with school materials every year. The backpacks are donated to children all over Africa and Asia, giving them vital tools that will allow them to learn at school. The concept of this short film was to follow the journey of one single backpack donated by a school child in the UK to its new owner in Malawi.  The film has been used by the charity Mary’s Meals for over 3 years now and it’s increasingly requested by schools and young people donating backpacks as it helps them visualise and understand where their donation goes.
