On completion of my MA documentary photography course I was invited to host a special screening and discussion at the newly opened Trongate 103 building in Glasgow. I had documented four stories of regeneration in Glasgow and as well as showing the short multimedia presentations and films I also chaired a discussion on several issues raised within the films. For this event I invited some of the people I had photographed and interviewed to participate in the discussions. The screening was a great success and I have subsequently been asked to hold screenings and discussions at several other locations and institutions in early 2010 – Glasgow University, Glasgow School of Art and Strathclyde University. If you are interested in hosting a screening and discussion on my MA project – ‘Hope, memories, loss and community – four stories of regeneration in Glasgow‘ – then please get in touch.
On Sunday the February 2010 I will be screening and introducing my short film on Paddy’s Market as part of the Glasgow Short Film Festival. More information and tickets here
